Resettlement Support Worker 22.5 hours per week £19,509 Pro Rata for part time staff
(Fixed term 31st March 2019)
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Domestic Abuse Service in Newport. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an appropriate support and information service, responding to the emotional and practical needs of women and children living in various types of accommodation around Newport who have previously, or are presently, suffering from domestic abuse and who have lived in refuge and need support with re–settlement into their new home.
Assist and facilitate service users to make informed decisions and positive changes to their lives, to minimise risk and enhance their future. Using the self help principle to encourage independence and empower the service user to succeed on all levels.
The successful candidate is required to participate in the organisation’s 24 hour on-call rotas.
