Information Centre
The Information Centre, at 56 Stow Hill, is the first point of contact for women who need practical and emotional support and / or refuge due to domestic abuse. The centre is open Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm.
Outreach
We have two outreach workers who offer support to women and their children out in the community.
Refuges
We have 2 refuges in Newport which offer a safe place for women and children who needs to escape an abusive environment.
Aftercare
Our aftercare worker supports families when they move out of a refuge into their new home.
Support groups
We currently run 3 groups to support families who have experienced domestic abuse.

- Freedom Programme - explores the effects, tactics and beliefs of an abusive relationship.
- "Hands Off" Group - group work for 7 – 12 year olds who have experienced domestic abuse.
- Nurturing Programme - a mothers group which promotes positive parenting whilst nurturing themselves.
